As part of our latest blog series, #AgentInsider, each month we spotlight neighbourhoods we know and love throughout Ontario. Learn about the hidden gems, favourite shops, the best dining options, fun factoids and more.

This month we head into Yorkville and tour the area with Bosley REALTORS® James In the City & Meggie Guest. They not only serve the Yorkville area, but have a finger on the pulse of all things new and exciting in the village. Yorkville is a destination dripping in designer stores and fashion boutiques and a hotspot for locals and tourists (not to mention the food in this area is exceptional!) Though this shopping mecca is known for an endless assortment of big brands, you would be surprised to learn that this destination also presents some of the finest independent boutiques and food purveyors in the city. James and Meggie share their top favourites that are locally known and loved.

Welcome to Yorkville - Toronto's most glamorous neighbourhood! If you’re looking to shop at luxury designer stores and dine in fine restaurants, Yorkville is the place to be. What was once referred to as the “hippie haven” in the 1960s, has now evolved into the lavish neighbourhood that we’ve come to adore. The area was named after the Town of York and was incorporated as a Village in 1853.
