October 1st marks International Coffee Day, but as Realtors...well, that’s every day for us!

Our team is dedicated to knowing the areas and neighbourhoods we serve, inside and out! This is why when asked “where’s your favourite place to stop for coffee?,” our agents didn’t hesitate to respond! If you’re new to the neighbourhood or are thinking about moving into the area - check out one of our top 10 favourite local coffee shops in Toronto

Rooster Coffee

(586 Jarvis Street - 479 Broadview Avenue - 343 King Street East)

Rooster Coffee comes highly recommended by several of our agents! With 3 locations throughout the city, there truly is something for everyone! Whether you’re a coffee lover, tea drinker, or you’re just here for the sweets - you will not be disappointed when stopping by Rooster!

Flying Squirrel Motorcycle Co.

(1345 Queen Street East)

Whether you’re into motorcycles, or you just love a cool atmosphere with great food and drinks...Flying Squirrel Motorcycle Co. is the spot for you! Their outdoor patio (called the Cantina) is open for breakfast and lunch every weekend from 9am-2pm!

DeMello Coffee

(2489 Yonge Street)

Umbrellas decorate the ceiling at this industrial-chic cafe offering desserts and house-roasted beans. DeMello is also extremely socially conscious, which is something we value here at Bosley Real Estate! They strive to work with the same producers consistently, so that they can offer a level of economic security and peace of mind to their producers! Now that’s a cup of joe you can feel good about!

Pilot Coffee (7 locations throughout Toronto)

Pilot is another favourite amongst the Bosley agents! A full-service roastery, wholesaler and café operator with multiple locations across Toronto, Pilot coffee can be purchased directly online or at one of their own branded locations. They have also been the recipient of multiple awards through Great Place To Work in the categories of Inclusion, Managed by Women, and Millennials!

Broadview Espresso

(817 Broadview Avenue)

Broadview Espresso is a favourite of ours for many reasons, but mostly because they’re just a hop, skip and a jump from our Danforth office! They serve quality espresso drinks and delicious treats... and they even have vegan options! Next time you visit our office, be sure to pop by Broadview Espresso and tell them their friends at Bosley sent you!

The Black Pony

(1481 Gerrard Street East)

The Black Pony Cafe is the perfect spot to catch up with friends or colleagues after work! They offer something for everyone with an assortment of coffee, cocktails, wine, beer and snacks. Pro Tip: try the orange blossom...we hear it’s world-famous!

Lit Espresso Bar

(221 Roncesvalles Avenue)

Do you love delicious coffee and baked goods? Then Lit is the place for you! Lit Espresso Bar is no stranger to experimenting with new flavours for baked goods like their Caramel Popcorn Pie (yes...you read that right)! Lit is located in the Roncesvalles neighbourhood and is open daily from 8am-4pm!

Bu'na

(1178 Queen Street West)

Bu’na is the sister company to its next-door neighbour, Nunu’s Ethiopian Fusion! Their coffee boils in a traditional pot called a jebena - imported right from Ethiopia. And, all of their beans are hand-roasted in-house! Next time you’re in the Little Portugal neighbourhood, stop by Bu’na!

The Common Espresso bar

(1028 Bloor Street West)

From the rustic church pews that line the walls, to the delicious breakfast pastries, The Common is a must-try! Stop by for their famous Americano and stay for the friendly faces and warm atmosphere.

Congo Coffee + Beignet

(298 Gerrard Street East)

Offering a unique experience, Congo Coffee is the only coffee shop serving Toronto beignets, something we believe is the perfect treat to have with a hot cup of coffee! While these sweet treats are usually dusted with powdered sugar, founder Nia has taken it to the next level, introducing an array of different syrups and sauces to add another flavour profile to their beignets. They also specialize in direct trade coffee from Congo.

Bosley agents are passionate about Real Estate - and fueled by coffee from local shops! Supporting local businesses is something that we feel strongly about and we would love to support yours! Be sure to tag us on Facebook and Instagram so we can share your small business with our clients, friends, and followers.
