Michael started his career with Terry Martel Real Estate in 1986. With hard work and a little luck, he placed 9th of 300 agents in his first full year and has managed to always do well in the ensuing years. Michael is very happy to have joined Bosley Real Estate in January of 1999, and he has placed in the top ten in his office every year since 2000.

Michael has amassed a lot of experience in his real estate career and has sold through all kinds of markets, both good and bad. He has kept up his ongoing education and has taken upwards of 40 real estate related courses over the years. He professes to be as enthusiastic today, as he was when he started. He is presently a coaching client and a member of Richard Robbins International, one of the top real estate training organizations in North America.

Michael joined in a real estate partnership with Scott Wilson in January of 2004. They are now in their 4th year of a happy association and each bring a variety of skills to the table. Their clients enjoy a productive combination of experience, enthusiasm, good humour, diligence, intelligence and great senses of fun.

Michael grew up in Moore Park, in Toronto, and went to Whitney, Deer Park, North Toronto Collegiate and Ashbury College before studying at Ryerson University.

Michael recently moved to Spruce Street in Cabbagetown, after living in the same house on Ontario Street since 1979. After years of renovating, he's delighted to be in a house where there's nothing to do! Michael volunteers with the Toronto Humane Society and participates in many fitness related activities and enjoys film, theatre and music and admits to an addiction to periodicals and the printed page.

Michael appeared on the HGTV show, The Big Flip, in December of 2006.

“We probably hold the record as the clients who took the longest to purchase a home. To Michael's credit, he is the most patient real estate agent we have ever encountered. Even though he knew we were in no rush to purchase, he patiently spent over a year helping us to find the perfect home. Michael maintained close contact with us during the year, showed us many houses and always gave us sage advice. We relied heavily on his knowledge and it paid off! He even helped us find reliable tradespeople to do some work in the new house. Michael was sensitive to the fact that we were downsizing from the home where we had happily raised our children and needed time to adjust to empty nesting! We never felt pressured.

By the time we purchased, we felt we had not only acquired the home of our dreams but a good friend as well, someone we trusted implicitly and whom we were happy to recommend to friends. “
